What the service does

Social TARS watches for comments on your Instagram posts and, when one matches a keyword you chose, replies publicly and sends that person a direct message. You decide the keyword, the wording, and which posts it applies to.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must own or be authorised to manage any Instagram account you connect.

What you may not do

• Break Instagram's own terms or platform policies. Your account there is at risk, not just this one.
• Send unsolicited bulk messages, or use automations to spam, harass, deceive, or impersonate.
• Use the service for anything unlawful.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

Accounts doing any of the above can be suspended without notice.

Instagram is not ours

Social TARS depends entirely on Instagram's API. Meta can change it, restrict it, or withdraw access at any time, and any of those can break the service through no fault of either of us. Social TARS is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.

Availability

The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime and no warranty. It is early software. Do not build anything you cannot afford to have interrupted on top of it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you have paid for the service, and there is no liability for indirect or consequential loss — including lost followers, lost sales, or action taken against your Instagram account.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and ask for deletion at any time; see the data deletion page. We may end your access if you breach these terms, or if the service itself is discontinued.
